Here is the America’s Got Talent season 18 episode 6 recap

Mariandrea

This 14-year-old girl from Mexico was the very first contestant on the sixth episode of America’s Got Talent. She had come to perform her audience with her mother and father. When she was asked “How long have you been dancing?” from Howie, she revealed she had been dancing since she was five years old. This little talented girl revealed that, prior to this she had never been on such a huge platform.

She was in AGT to inspire all the younger women of Mexico to know that they are limitless. She then started her dance before the judges and we have to agree her moves and flexibility amazed the audience in the auditorium. Her facial expression was on a different level. Due to her amazing performance, all the judges of the show were bound to give her a “Yes”.

82nd Airborne Chorus

Fans and audiences might have seen lots of different types of acts on America’s Got Talent but, this audition was something else and unique. 82nd Airborne Chorus is a group from North Carolina that dedicated their cover of “My Girl” to a recently fallen soldier from the U.S. Army that they represent. This group were seen wearing their formal army dress while they were auditioning.

The group included both men and women who had come to give their auditions. The group gave an amazing short and sweet stage performance before the audience. While performing it seemed like the whole audience was singing and dancing with this group. Interestingly, Simon had anticipated that this group will be strongly loved by the audience. All the judges of the show gave a “Yes” vote to this amazing group.

Artem Shchukin

The third contestant of episode 6’s audition was Artem. This contestant used his famous Uncle Fester to look for his magic show. Compared to other magic shows, his magic show was quite different. He used “Addams Family” as the background music or the theme music and performed his amazing magic show.

During the show, the whole auditorium was fully entertained. His tricks were amazing and was loved by all the judges present in the show. Now, that is the primary reason why all the judges had to give him a “yes” vote.

MOS

We guarantee you that, you might not have seen a brass performance like this before. MOS is a group of four members who reside in Japan and had come to America’s Got Talent to play brass. All four members of this group were seen wearing the same colored attire and were greatly in sync.

The moment they started their auditions, the audience or viewers was already loving it. They were playing brass on the pop song “Bang Bang” on saxophones and horns. All the judges loved the way they were presenting themselves to the whole audience. They were bound to give the group a “yes” vote which helped the group to make another return.

40 Pounds and Let It Happen

40 Pounds and Let It Happen are two different groups who had come to perform on America’s Got Talent. 40 Pounds is a freestyler from Brooklyn who performed his auditions before the judges and received all “yes” from the judges.

On the other hand, Let It Happen is a three-member group of dancers who were seen on the stage for their auditions right after 40 Pounds.

Oswaldo Colina

After these dance groups it was Oswaldo Colina who had already participated in Britain’s Got Talent had come for his luck in America’s Got Talent. It was Simon who had rejected him on Britain’s Got Talent, unfortunately, his luck did not favour him here as well.

Oswaldo dances with his fingers on a mini stage, which provides a unique perspective on the art form. Interestingly, by the end of his performance, only Sofia did not hit her red X button. All the other judges had already given their red X button. Unfortunately, he did not qualify to reach the next round.

Trent Toney

Now, it was time for some singing auditions for the stage. Firefighter Trent Toney took the stage to give his singing talent to the world. He revealed that he is 30 years old and he is from Hillsboro Oregon which was close to Portland Oregon.

The moment he revealed that he was a firefighter the audience went crazy. Trent then revealed his sad story of how things were when he was married and things are now. He even revealed that he was still in love with his ex-wife.

Heidi got Trent to agree to FaceTime calling his ex-wife prior to the performance so that she could watch him. You won’t believe it but, his ex-wife received the call and they spoke. Trent then sang “Always and Lately” which was his original song while FaceTiming his ex-wife. He did receive all “yes” from all the judges.

Puppet Simon & Cow Belles

It was time for some stage comedy vocal performance. Initially, the audience including the judges were loving the performance but, that did not go for long.

Sofia was the one to hit the red X button and their own Puppet Simon stopped the performance prematurely. Immediately, they started singing their rendition song which was “Somebody to Love”. Sofia revealed that they are not an act that belongs on the show.

There were some arguments between Sofial and the Puppet Simon where the original Simon came in between and said he enjoyed their performance despite “not being a huge fan”. In the end, Sofia maintained her “no” vote but, all three judges gave a “yes” vote which overruled Sofia’s no vote.

Duo Desire

This dancing couple surely put the stage on fire with their dancing skills. Their acrobatic talent skills were something to look at. Their body was fully flexing and it was being well-appraised by all the people who were present inside the auditorium. In the end, all the judges present were highly happy and satisfied with their talent. This couple earned an easy “yes” from all the judges.

Presley and Taylor

Many people across the country and the world will know these sisters. Both sisters grew up with country music in their household. It was quite hard for them to learn the field in which they have gained popularity today.

While learning country music both the sisters moved to Nashville n order to pursue a career in the industry. They brought their band on stage and gave a crowd-hyping bar performance. While their performance, the crowd performance was a bit muted as it did not amaze the fans and the whole auditorium.

Sofia revealed that this group did not bring a ‘wow factor’ and the same kind of feeling was given by all the other three judges. Unfortunately, all the judges gave a ‘no’ vote.

Andrew Stanton

Sword-swallowing acts are something a talent competition show is famous for. Andrew’s sword-swallowing act left the whole auditorium room screaming. It felt like the whole audience including the judge felt the pain while he was putting the sword inside his mouth.

Moreover, at the end of the show, the judges had a mixed feeling for how disturbing, yet fun this act was. It was Heidi who was speechless and wanted to say no but, the other three judges were happy with the performance and all of them agreed to give a ‘yes’.

Lavender Darcangelo

This was the final act of the show. We saw Lavender coming in with her father on the stage as she was blind. It was because of her autism, Lavender did not begin speaking until she was four years old. It was her father who introduced her to his after-school music program.

Slowly, Lavender adopted the skills and made her talent. The crowd went crazy at her singing skills, she gave it all in this audition round. After she ended her singing, she received a huge round of applause from the whole auditorium. All the judges present on the show were highly amazed and moved by her background story and her determination.

Heidi revealed, “I think I just fell in love” and she asked Lavender if she could be her cheerleader. This all happened before she hit the Golden Buzzer for Lavender Darcangelo. Yes, it was the Golden Buzzer moment and we saw so many teary eyes in the crowd. It was surely a beautiful ending to the sixth episode of its 18th season.
